Bravera Bank is hiring for a Relationship Banker / Mortgage Banker in Glendive, MT.  Bravera is an employee- and director-owned company that is committed to helping our employees forge a new path in their career. A Relationship Banker / Mortgager Banker will support retail staff with account openings, consumer & HELOC loan applications, as well as assist with the duties involving mortgage loans and cultivating new relationships on behalf of the bank.

  3. Coordinate business development functions for department.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

Relationship Banker:

  1. Earn and maintain the respect and trust of people. Display honesty, integrity, and morality.
  2. Responsible to promote a positive and collaborative environment that supports teamwork and excellent customer service throughout the organization.
  3. Open and maintain deposit accounts, Internet banking, Debit / ATM cards, wire transfers, address change requests and IRA accounts.
  4. Know and follow current banking policies and regulations relating to the deposit and withdrawal of funds.
  5. Customer problem resolution.
  6. Contribute to the overall success of the organization by leveraging opportunities as they relate to all entities of Bravera Holdings Corp.
  7. Must maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism regarding all employee and customer issues and information.
  8. Responsible for soliciting, developing and maintaining profitable account relationships to increase market share
  9. Responsible for overall branch performance
  10. Responsible for the appearance of the branch location, internal and external
  11. Make calls on prospective and existing customers
  12. Responsible for taking loan applications for personal/retail consumer needs (lending authority)
  13. Knowledgeable of all banking products and services
  14. Knowledgeable of banking laws and regulations
  15. Responsible for promoting the organization in the community through participation in various civic and community events, activities, committees, and organizations.
  16. Adhere to all banking rules and regulations, including but not limited to the requirements of the Bank Secrecy Act.  In addition, the employee will be proactive in the prevention of illegal activities, will vigilantly look for activities that may constitute any type of fraud including money laundering, and will report any suspicious activity to the BSA Officer.

Mortgage Banker:

  1. Responsible for cultivating new and existing mortgage customer relationships.
  2. Must fully understand Bravera Loan Policy and Procedures and recommend enhancements, as needed.
  3. Responsible for supporting the mortgage banking officers as they cultivate new and existing mortgage customer relationships.
  4. Provide loan support to assigned mortgage banking officers
  5. Make customer contacts, field inspections, and business visits, as necessary.
  6. Learn to analyze asset and repayment quality on existing loans and loan applications.
  7. Will recommend banking products and services, based on customer analysis.
  8. Responsible for assisting in the collection of delinquent mortgage loans.
  9. Keep abreast of current industry trends, new programs, and regulations.
  10. Responsible for promoting teamwork and open communication among all mortgage functions of the organization and with other departments.
  11. Responsible for maximizing processes and delivery of services as they relate to mortgage customer relationship building functions. 
  12. Learn the appropriate products offered by our organization and collaborate with others to implement them with our mortgage clients.

 

Qualifications

  1. High School Diploma or equivalent with 1-2 years of post-secondary education preferred
  2. 1-3 years of banking experience or customer service experience
  3. Ability to be an independent thinker
