Position: Certified Medication Aide

Job Description:
We are seeking a Certified Medication Aide to join our team at our healthcare facility. The Certified Medication Aide will be responsible for administering medication to patients as prescribed by healthcare providers.
Responsibilities:
Administer medication to patients as prescribed by healthcare providers
Ensure patients receive medications on time and in the correct dosage
Document medication administration in patients' charts
Monitor patients for any adverse reactions to medication and report them to healthcare providers
Assist healthcare providers in updating medication orders and ensuring accurate medication administration
Maintain confidentiality of patient information
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Certification as a Medication Aide
Previous experience in medication administration preferred
Strong attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well in a team environment
Knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration procedures
Salary: Starting from $20.50 per hour
Schedule:
Monday to Friday
Weekends as needed
Education:
High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
CMA: 2 years (Required)
Rehabilitation Center: 2 years (Preferred)
Active CNA & CMA licenses
License/Certification:
Certified Medical Assistant & CNA (Required)
Work Location: In person
