- Create innovative menus according to the seasonal availability of ingredients and customer expectations
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the kitchen
- Plan and create menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of customers
- Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and portion sizes
- Ensure that food is prepared and served in a timely manner
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and taste
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, including cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards
- Collaborate with the restaurant management team to develop new menu items and specials
- Assist with banquet or catering events as needed

- Proven experience working in a culinary role, preferably in a restaurant or food industry setting
- Strong knowledge of food production techniques, including food preparation, cooking methods, and plating presentations
- Familiarity with dietary department guidelines and restrictions
- Excellent understanding of food safety practices and regulations
- Ability to effectively supervise and lead a team of kitchen staff members
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
