Human Resources Leader
General Description:
The Human Resources Leader will be responsible for further building out the Human Resources function of the organization including recruiting, workforce planning, leadership and employee development, performance management, employee engagement, compensation and benefits, etc. that aligns with business strategy.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Develop a comprehensive human resources strategy and implementation plan aligned with the business strategy and the values and culture of the organization.
- Assess the current workforce capabilities, determine future workforce needs and develop a plan to close the gap through talent acquisition, employee development and coaching, and knowledge transfer amongst employees.
- Develop and deploy talent acquisition and onboarding processes designed to acquire and retain high performance talent.
- Develop and implement performance processes and systems including performance planning, feedback, and appraisal.
- Coach and counsel managers and provide the tools to support them in their role as leaders.
- Identify training and education needs, develop and implement plans, programs and processes to meet those needs and consistently monitor the effectiveness of these programs.
- Assess and enhance the current compensation, reward and recognition and benefit programs to ensure market competitiveness and alignment with the organization’s culture and growth goals.
- Ensure all Human Resources policies and programs are compliant with the laws and regulations within each jurisdiction.
- Handle all employee relations issues and find resolutions that are customer focused and balance the needs of the individual employee and the organization.
- Develop and manage the organization’s safety program.
Basic Requirements:
- Progressive Human Resources experience in small to mid-size companies; ideally with multi-site responsibility.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources management/development, business, or related field.
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience within heavy-duty truck or similar industry

- Strong oral and written communication ability.
- Must be able to work in a results-oriented, fast-paced environment as part of a team.
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills.
- Must be a self-starter and willing to take the initiative, able and willing to work without direct supervision, and be willing to attend appropriate training sessions.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $58,260.94 - $70,163.71 per year
