Job Description and Expectations
- Present a positive first impression of the establishment's friendliness, excellent service and high standards.
- Greet guests upon arrival, answer questions regarding menu, receive guests orders, assist in making orders, and bid guests farewell as they leave.
- Carry natural conversation with guests without sounding scripted or intrusive.
- Perform light housekeeping duties such as cleaning tables, sweeping entrance areas and as needed and ensure restrooms are clean, stocked and orderly.
- Answer the phones and address guest questions. Additionally, take phone orders for carry out and handle third party ordering app orders.
- Assist with organizing carry out orders and processing payments.
- Availability should include weekends. Potential for night shifts in the future as we look to expand our hours.
Minimum Qualifications
- Maintain food and drink menu knowledge week to week based on different specials and changes made
- Positive attitude and engaging demeanor
- State required health certification
- Some evening shifts, weekends, and holidays required
- Ability to communicate clearly with guests and co-workers
- Ability to correctly process various types of payments (cash, credit/debit card, app payments)
Many of these skills transfer to our Host positions as well with the potential for extra hours (if desired) at other locations. We are always looking for a few "key players" that can assist at multiple locations and are looking to grow with the company!
