Social Media Coordinator
Location: St. Paul, MN (hybrid)
Bria Hammel Interiors and sister company, Brooke & Lou, is looking for a Social Media Coordinator! The Social Media Coordinator will report to the Senior Marketing Manager and will be responsible for creating, implementing, and monitoring the growth of our social media channels. The ideal candidate is creative and social media obsessed, but also organized, strategic and self-motivated.
Specific Duties/Responsibilities:
- Social Media Management:ideate, plan, and execute Bria Hammel Interiors and Brooke & Lou’s content calendars by mapping out content and posting to social channels.
- Content Creation: capture and edit original photos, videos, Reels, and TikToks for our social channels – with the ability to also utilize existing assets to create fresh, engaging content.
- Community management: manage social platforms, interacting with followers/customers regularly across platforms in an on-brand voice.
- Create content for Instagram stories utilizing Adobe Illustrator or Canva on a daily basis.
- Brand marketing support: Support the marketing team on a variety of content initiatives including photoshoots / event support.
- Repurpose content for Pinterest utilizing Tailwind for consistent scheduling to promote brand awareness and meet creator Rewards program.
- Create shopping guides and lifestyle content for BHI platforms.
- Write for Bria Hammel Interiors blog 2-3 posts/month.
- Contribute to regular performance reports (weekly/monthly) for brands.
Skills & Qualifications:
- You have a Bachelor’s Degree and 1-2 years of experience in social media.
- You are social media-obsessed and well-versed in all things Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and TikTok—with a pulse on emerging platforms.
- You’re a strong communicator and can interact well with both influencers, customers, and followers across platforms.
- You are proactive and detail oriented but can also move fast and manage tight timelines.
- You are flexible and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- You have a positive “can do" attitude and are willing to roll up your sleeves.
- You have great taste and an eye for elevated design, which translates into the content you create.
- Comfortable being in a front-facing role and willing to film themselves speaking to camera.
- You are passionate about Interior Design and other lifestyle brands.
- A public Instagram account.
- Experience with either Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
- Familiarity with Shopify, Planoly, Tailwind, and Asana is a plus, but not required.
