Human Resource Manager Responsibilities:
- Responsible to direct the human resource and payroll activities within the facility including training and updating staff on company policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Recruits staff members and conducts background checks.
- Provides general orientation to new employees according to company policy.
- Advises department managers on proper procedures regarding progressive discipline and termination activity to ensure consistency in policy interpretation and application.
- Maintain workers compensation files. Ensure that all pertinent information is collected including all physician information and return to work documentation.
- Provide overall payroll support including data entry, answering payroll questions, and payroll close.
Human Resource Manager Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years experience in Human Resources.
- Proficiency with or the ability to learn our company's HRIS.
- Knowledge and familiarity with employment-related laws and regulations.
- Excellent prioritzation and delegation skills.
