Maintenance Supervisor Responsibilities:

  • As maintenance supervisor you will oversee the maintenance staff.
  • You will establish a continuous maintenance schedule for all systems and areas of your facility.
  • You will train new and existing staff in community and state-required policies and procedures.
  • You will provide and oversee a wide variety of maintenance and mechanical work including but not limited to carpentry, electrical, plumbing and painting.

 

Maintenance Supervisor Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 or more years experience  working maintenance in long-term care.
  • Working knowledge of multiple systems relevant to nursing home maintenance (ie., HVAC, plumbing, electrical)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
