Duties:
- Greet and assist prospective tenants in a friendly and professional manner
- Conduct property tours and showcase available units
- Provide information on rental rates, lease terms, and move-in specials
- Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and in-person regarding rental properties
- Process rental applications and conduct background checks
- Prepare lease agreements and ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately
- Collect and process rental payments
- Coordinate move-in and move-out processes, including inspections and key exchanges
- Maintain accurate records of tenant interactions, lease agreements, and maintenance requests
- Assist with marketing efforts to attract new tenants
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate and build rapport with prospective tenants
- Proficient in computer skills, including data entry and using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage paperwork, files, and administrative tasks
- Customer relationship management skills to provide exceptional customer service to tenants
- Knowledge of leasing contracts and legal requirements
- Ability to upsell additional services or amenities to prospective tenants
- Professional phone etiquette with the ability to handle inquiries effectively
