Location: IN PERSON/MOBILE.
Hours: Every OTHER Weekend, 5am to 5pm.
Rate: $17 / per hour.

Purpose Statement: The role of the Emergency Response Team is to respond to crisis and provide support, problem solving, and de-escalation to individuals receiving disability services. A vehicle will be provided upon passing a Driver Record History check.
Job Roles/Responsibilities:
- Professionally represent Bridges MN to police, paramedics, and hospital staff.
- Answer and respond appropriately to the response team phone during scheduled shifts.
- Diffuse or De-escalate challenging and crisis situations involving individuals with disabilities who receive support services
- Communicate promptly pertinent or concerning events to residential supervisors
- Document and Report after each shift all interactions with individuals
- Walk through apartment properties to ensure it is a healthy and safe environment
- Audit MARS and site compliance
- Provide medication reminders or observations for designated individuals
- Respond to and report accurately on incidents
- Build rapport with individuals and staff creating a trusting and supportive dynamic
Required Skills and Experience:(Minimum requirements in terms of educations background, work experience, licenses/certifications or other knowledge, skills, and abilities)
- High school diploma/ GED required.
- Valid driver's license
- No more than two minor moving violations in the past 3 years.
- No major violations (DUI, Careless, Reckless, Serious Speed, Driving While License Suspended, etc) in the past 5 years.
- Ability to pass a background check with the Department of Health and Human Services.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Compassionate about the care and well-being of others.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills; ability to communicate with varied levels of employees.
