Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care and have the ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality nursing care to patients across various settings, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
Job Duties
- Assess and monitor patient health status, including vital signs and symptoms.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including IV infusion and tube feeding.
- Provide primary care and support for patients in urgent care settings.
- Assist in critical care transport and ventilate patients when necessary.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Conduct ostomy care and acute pain management for patients as needed.
- Participate in ambulatory surgery center procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care strategies.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Skills
- Proficiency in IV infusion techniques and tube feeding administration.
- Experience in primary care, urgent care, or critical care transport environments.
- Knowledge of ventilatory support methods and ostomy care practices.
- Strong skills in acute pain management strategies.
- Familiarity with botulinum toxin treatment protocols is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently while ensuring quality patient care.
