Caregiver Supervisor

BrightStar Care is searching for a dynamic Caregiving Supervisor who has a positive attitude and can prioritize and balance a multitude of requests for the office environment. The Caregiver Supervisor is responsible for the following:

• Scheduling caregivers, nurses, and CNAs with the staffing team, ensuring care and staff coverage 24/7 to meet the needs of our clients and protect BrightStar brand standards
• Participating in the on-call rotation, weeknights, weekends and holidays (additional income provided)
• Having hard conversations with caregivers when their are issues such as tardiness, behavior, work ethic, etc.
• Conducting disciplinary actions such as write-ups or terminations
• Effectively manages the customer care procedures and serves as a point of contact for client/customer relations
• Ensuring the branch meets or exceeds inquiry conversion goals and workforce utilization
• Schedules staff to meet client care needs and minimize non-billed overtime
• Supports inquiry phone calls, new admission calls and scheduling, upholding service standards
• Ensure high-quality customer care is provided at every stage of the client touch-points; from phone to in-home consultation

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma required
• Reliable transportation
• Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint); internet
• Minimum of 2 years experience with staffing and/or managing customer service within a healthcare office setting or 3 years experience in medical office environment
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a supervisor role
• knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare office regulations
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to manage complaints and difficult situations requiring critical thinking
