Description
- Essential Duties Regularly apply advanced data analysis skills to understand detailed data flows between systems and within systems for their domain.
- Design & implement data models, dimensional & relational concepts like StarSchema, Snowflake Schema Modeling, Fact and Dimension tables; experience in Extract, Transform and Loading process of data.
- Develop new reporting and enhance current reports to keep them in line with changing business needs and requests of business partners Create time efficient processes for all analysis and reporting through process automation. Prepare, consolidate, andor analyze weeklymonthly reporting packages derived from multiple data sources in support of organizational goals and strategy.
- Use ETL tool to process data from various data silos. Design and develop technical solutions that meet user needs with respect to functionality, performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Drive department best practices, guidelines implementation and adhering to standards. Provide technical and development leadership (Design, oversight) for business solutions. This includes technical coordination and decision making for project work. Identify recurring systems issues, conduct root cause analyses, and provide metrics as required.
- Drive technical designs to consensus and approval by Architecture Review Team.
- Performs impact analysis of proposed changes on existing architecture, capabilities, system priorities, and technology solutions; looks for additional solution options or tradeoffs. Identifies costbenefit implications of proposed solutions (e.g., people, processes, technology, strategy, finance). Creates and maintains application architecture and related assets. Be the goto person for development team on architecture discussions.
- Qualifications Should have handson experience in processing huge datasets. Understanding and good hold over KPI\s Working knowledge on AWS Cloud or Azure Infrastructure Experience in creating packages to extract data from Excel, Flat file, Oracle, DB2, Sybase to MS SQL Server by using MS SQL Server DTS and SSIS In depth knowledge in performing various businessdata analysis using Quick Sight, Power BI, Excel StatTools, Tableau, SAS Data and Visual Analytics tool Experience in recommending best practices for building data visualizations using Tableau.
- Experience in Oracle PLSQL, Stored procedures, and functions Experience in performance tuning Solid knowledge of Oracle SQL, ETL processes, multidimensional analysis, databases, data calculation, and aggregation techniques Handson experience with Restful Web Services, web applications, JSM, transactional databases, and NoSQL databases Experience with enterprise integration servicessolutions Experience in implementing and supporting of SaaS applications.
- Experience with distributed systems Experience with production and disaster recovery systemsapplication support Ability to execute and prioritize multiple tasks, initiate, and conduct meetings with team and peers. Ability to support a myriad of financial applications including FP&A and Treasury applications Ability to analyze and troubleshoot production issues.
- Experience with Agile Methodologies in a distributed team environment is a plus. Nice to have Knowledge of core CS concepts such as common data structures and algorithms, profilingoptimization, cost optimization problemsmachine learning Prior experience with regulated financial organizations
