Job Purpose:
The Commerical Glass Sales Representative is responsible for providing estimates and processing orders for existing and unestablished customers in the commercial glass service market. The role is a combination of new business development, account management (with existing customers), and project development. Common tasks would be measuring broken or fogged windows, identifying aluminum entrance repairs, mirror replacements and window leak investigation. The customer base includes commercial property managers, schools, colleges, municipalities, corporations, and small contractors.
The geographical market is the Twin Cities metro area.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Service Sales team in managing key accounts effectively, specifically with the Inside Sales Manager and Sales Associates supporting customer projects.
- Maintain regular communication with customers to ensure prompt responses to inquiries and concerns.
- Offer support, estimates, and service to both existing and prospective clients.
- Ensuring that our customers are highly satisfied with our services and products.
- Entry and management of work orders and quote requests to insure accurate and timely service to customers.
- Coordinate with the glazing supervisor to schedule work and provide timely updates to customers.
- Communication of job details to the glazing supervisor and glaziers before the start of the job
- Efficiently manage work orders to optimize productivity and profitability.
- Address any issues for our customers or with work orders in a timely manner.
- Processing of completed work orders to ensure timely invoicing and payment.
- Manage error tracking and re-ordering materials as required.
- Follow up on qualified leads from Marketing and Business Development
- Every 7 to 8 weeks, you will participate in an on-call rotation to provide after-hours emergency support (weeknights and weekends). During this period, you will assist customers over the phone and forward the request to the Glazier on call.
