Briohn Building Corporation, a family-owned, commercial design/build construction company founded in 1979, is looking for a Director of HR. The Director of HR will focus on leading the overall HR functions for Briohn, including talent acquisition and onboarding, employee engagement, wellness, event planning, performance management, and leadership development.

Job Responsibilities Include:
Employee Engagement
- Contribute to Briohn's employee appreciation and recognition initiatives and promote our reputation
- Plan and implement new and creative employee events as well as assist in the planning of internal and external events
- Collaborate with employees on internal presentations at company meetings on lessons learned and past projects
- Professionalize internal employee communications
- Manage social media announcements for employee recognition
Performance Management
- Work with VP of HR to orchestrate semi-annual employee reviews and internal feedback loops
- Coach and motivate employees to set and accomplish SMART goals and advance our mission throughout the year
- Oversee professional development and coaching relationships, both internally with managers and outside coaches
- Facilitate employee recognition by managers--identifying the need for recognition, and support follow through
Recruitment
- Lead the talent acquisition process
- Create metrics for tracking recruiting activity and grow talent pipeline
- Continually update job descriptions to match our growth needs
- Maintain current benchmark for compensation and benefits in our industry
- Lead the pre-employment process by preparing offer documents and perform appropriate background checks
- Onboard new employees to successfully integrate them into company culture
Wellness
- Establish and implement new company wellness initiatives
- Promote the corporate culture of health and wellness both internally and externally
