Summary
BMS currently has an exciting specialty position available for a Transplant Account Manager. You will be responsible for optimizing access and appropriate utilization through account management at key transplant centers and consolidated group practices, and as well as elevating BMS as a leader within the Transplant space. This is an important asset in the BMS immunology portfolio and has untapped market potential as the only biologic therapy for anti-rejection in kidney transplant.
The Transplant Account Manager will work with a broad internal cross-matrix team, including Medical, HEOR, Regional Marketing, and Marketing. This is a critical role in establishing BMS as a leader in Transplant and identifying opportunities for relevant, compliant collaborations with these key accounts. This is a field-based role that reports directly into Marketing, Established Brands. Ability for up to 75% travel including overnights is required.

Responsibilities
- Gain a deep understanding of customer objectives, challenges and market dynamics and translate this knowledge into developing actionable strategic plans to optimize customer engagement and account outcomes.
- Integrate and prioritize account plans and activities across matrix partners to ensure stellar account management/support that leads to meaningful outcomes.
- Engage and partner with key customers to implement compliant solutions to optimize patient care (customers include, but are not limited to, key decision makers and stakeholders at transplant centers of excellence, large and independent consolidated groups)
- Identify unique, meaningful opportunities to differentiate both BMS and its products within key accounts.
- Lead internal business strategy and planning reviews across matrix partners, including but not limited to Regional Marketing, Medical, and HEOR, on ongoing basis to ensure seamless execution against account plans.
- Serve as the lead BMS contact for pharmacy and operations key decision makers within targeted accounts.
- Analyze and apply market data to assess business opportunities and priorities, including relevant impact of regional healthcare trends.
- Coordinate internal and field resources and facilitate senior executive interactions as appropriate.

- BS/BA degree required.
- Minimum of 7 years of pharmaceutical experience
- Prior experience in Solid Organ Transplant and/or an Advanced Medical degree is strongly preferred.
- Recent transplant experience is strongly preferred.
- Proven leadership skills and ability to network across complex internal and external environment.
- Demonstrates critical thinking and strong decision-making skills.
- Excellent social, communication (oral and written) and presentation skills required.
- Ability to navigate complex accounts and engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to develop innovative customer centric approaches, leverage multi-disciplinary capabilities and resources to realize objectives.
