What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Support position at briteCITY?

BRITECITY provides outsourced IT Support (remote and onsite) to small businesses in the Orange County, CA area.

We are looking to hire multiple positions in to expand our support team. This position require excellent communication skills, technical troubleshooting, the ability to stay on task and ability to accurately track and document all activities.

JOB HISTORY REQUIREMENTS:

We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 5 years computer industry experience, with 2 years of experience with a Managed Service Provider (MSP) strongly preferred. Candidates with Microsoft certifications are a plus.

DAILY SKILLS EXPECTATIONS:

  • Strong knowledge in the Implementation, Maintenance, and Troubleshooting of Network Environments (Windows Server Environments).
  • Excellent Knowledge of TCP/IP networks and the ability to diagnose network related issues. This is critical in our day to day operations, so a good understanding of networking is essential.
  • Ability to accurately document new and existing client environments.
  • Perform system administration/maintenance/troubleshooting for Window/Mac servers and workstations.
  • Maintain and upgrade network infrastructures.
  • Resolve technical issues and provide support to resolution.
  • Windows Server Support including applications, Microsoft Active Directory, troubleshooting, etc.
  • Software installation and upgrades.
  • Equipment moves and new computer system setups.
  • Provide daily desktop support, accurately track time and document work done in our ticketing system.
