About The Eric And Wendy Schmidt Center

The Eric and Wendy Schmidt Center is enabling a new field of interdisciplinary research at the intersection of the data and life sciences, aimed at improving human health. Our researchers and partners work together to make the biological questions of our time key drivers for foundational advances in machine learning — and vice versa.

The candidate will play a key role in effectively communicating the complex work of the Uhler Lab and Schmidt Center researchers to a variety of audiences (e.g., other scientists, laypersons, sponsors) and help translate the research into manuscripts, funding applications, presentations, reports, and online media. The candidate will be an integral part of the Schmidt Center staff and will work closely with the director, staff and research members on multiple projects simultaneously. This position requires excellent and demonstrated scientific writing and a deep understanding of computational biology, machine learning, genomics, or a related field.
