Part Time

Week 1: Sunday 10:30a-7:00p, Wednesday, Friday 4:00p-7:00p 

Week 2 Monday, Wednesday 4:00p-7:00p, Saturday 10:30a-7:00p

Join Broadmead (the oldest continuing care retirement community in Maryland) and their brand new Center of Excellence in Health & Wellness! This state-of-the-art Health and Wellness Center utilizes a holistic approach to wellness through a variety of offerings for the 500 residents of Broadmead, the 300 employees of Broadmead and older adult members from Baltimore County and other neighboring communities.

Work out before or after your shift (showers available on site).

1. Must be familiar with modified diets.
2. Is involved in ensuring the nutritional adequacy through serving food as indicated on modified diets, as well as providing feedback from residents to the Dietary Manager and Dietician, on nutritional problems.
3. Follows all safety and sanitation rules and regulations.
4. Performs side jobs.
5. Modifies food consistency to meet individual needs.
6. Trains new employees as instructed.
7. Attends all in-service training to ensure that all rules and regulations are being followed.
8. Will be an active part in revising and implementing rules and new regulations as they come into play.
9. Responsible for cleaning, bussing and resetting of dishes.
10. Maintains a clean, neat appearance.
11. Assist residents with seating and satisfactory handling of situations as they arise.
12. Perform additional tray line duties and projects as assigned by lead dietary aide or supervisor.
13. Ensure the dining experience is pleasant and enjoyable through cheerful behavior and by properly following established procedures for style and order of service.
14. Ensuring that nutritional adequacy is provided by following established procedures and providing appropriate feedback to supervisor.
15. Follows all Federal, State and County regulations and codes regarding food – procedures and sanitation by following established guidelines.
16. Ensures that the training duties provide new servers with optimum skills and knowledge in order to perform in the Health Care Dining Room and reinforces those skills.
17. Ensures that we meet county and state regulations as reflected in inspections.
18. Performs other duties as assigned. Accountable for promoting internal customer service.
19. Abide by the organization’s code of conduct in the performance of their duties
20. Ensure residents nourishments are prepared and served at appointed time
