We offer a diverse collection of fine art, from collectible historic and contemporary art to affordable works by young artists. Our friendly and knowledgeable staff assist and guide visitors through our collection.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Gallery Sales Associate at Broadmoor Galleries in Colorado Springs, CO. The Gallery Associate will be responsible for engaging with clients, driving sales and revenue, and assisting visitors as they explore the collection. Must be able to work some holidays and weekends. In addition to sales the position will include curating, inventory control, shipping & receiving, and merchandising.

Qualifications

  • Communication, Sales, and Art Gallery skills
  • Strong knowledge of Art processes, styles, materials… etc.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Aptitude for building and maintaining client relationships
  • A passion for learning about art and artists, and sharing that knowledge with customers.
  • Consistently lift up to 35lbs for merchandising and accessing artwork while assisting clients.
  • A strong understanding of PC's, Word, Excel, Photoshop, Social media and Google Suite is necessary.

****Weekends and holiday hours required****

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week

Shift:

  • 8 hour shift

Weekly day range:

  • Every weekend

Ability to Relocate:

  • Colorado Springs, CO 80906: Relocate before starting work (Required)
