What are the responsibilities and job description for the ER Nurses position at BronxCare Health System?
BronxCare Health System, a major teaching hospital and health system, now has excellent opportunities for Registered Staff Nurses in our Emergency Department. BronxCare’s ER is the fifteenth largest in the nation with 127,000 visits annually. The ER Nurse will provide professional nursing care to adult patients and will diagnose and treat patients through case finding, health teaching, and counseling. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with physicians and other health care providers to ensure a goal-oriented care plan that is consistent with medical regimen and hospital procedures.
Qualified candidates must have a BSN, New York State Registered Nursing license, and BLS certification. A minimum of three (3) years’ experience and bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
