- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
- Hourly Rate: $18.00 - $23.00
Duties:
- Provide front desk support to patients, answering phone calls, and greeting visitors
- Utilize medical administrative software, such as Meditech or eClinicalWorks, to manage patient records, schedule appointments, and coordinate medical collections
- Perform medical collection duties, including sending reminders and follow-up communications to patients
- Review and update patient documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Maintain organized and secure patient files and records
- Perform various administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and computerizing patient information
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and medical staff to ensure seamless patient care
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing patient concerns and questions in a professional and courteous manner
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1-2 years of experience in a medical receptionist or administrative role
- Proficiency in medical administrative software, including Meditech and eClinicalWorks
- Strong 10-key typing skills
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information
- Familiarity with medical procedures and terminology
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Experience in medical collection and documentation review
- Computer skills, including computerizing patient information
- Experience in medical administrative support roles
- Front desk experience preferred
