What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN - COVID Vaccine Clinic position at Brookdale Associates?
Seeking an experienced RN with at least one (1) year of experience preferably in a hospital or outpatient setting.
RN's will have the opportunity towards the end of the clinic to transition to our team full-time within the various specialties we offer patients.
The schedule for this position is Monday to Friday / 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, candidates hired must be available to work these days and hours.
Salary: $40 - $48 per hour (DOE) on an annual basis this would range from $84k - $97k
Requirements:
- NYS RN license
- At least one (1) year of experience as an RN or LPN administering injections.
- ASN (Required) or BSN (highly preferred)
- CPR/BLS
- EMR experience (i.e. Epic, Meditech, Cerner, NextGen, etc.)
Position Overview:
The Registered Nurse or RN provides professional nursing care to patients/significant others via direct and/or telephone contact, following established standards and practices. S/he coordinates with other members of the care team to ensure seamless care delivery, maximal coordination of efforts, and active patient participation in planning and care. Assists physician or other provider with clinical procedures, performs telephone triage as needed, and participates in patient teaching.
This is an RN position for this years COVID Clinic which will run from September through the first week of December. This position will need an RN with at least a year of experience who is comfortable giving vaccinations to patients of all ages.
