**Overview**
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated X-ray Technician to join our healthcare team. As an essential member of our diagnostic imaging department, the successful candidate will be responsible for operating imaging equipment, ensuring the highest level of patient care, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
**Responsibilities**
-Conduct X-ray and other diagnostic imaging procedures, including CT scans, PET scans, and sonography, as required.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including positioning and gowning, while adhering to aseptic technique.
- Operate imaging equipment, such as scanners and fluoroscopy machines, to capture high-quality images.
- Perform diagnostic evaluations by interpreting images and providing findings to physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and infection control guidelines.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare staff to ensure accurate and timely diagnoses.
- Develop and implement patient care plans, including assisting with patient transfers and providing emotional support.
- Document patient information, test results, and other relevant data in a timely and accurate manner.
**Qualifications**
-Associate's degree in diagnostic medical sonography or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Current certification in radiologic technology (RT(R)) or a related field.
- Current certification in basic life support (BLS) or advanced cardiac life support (ACLS).
- Experience in emergency medicine or nuclear medicine is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and diagnostic evaluation procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain aseptic technique and follow infection control guidelines.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality images.
- Ability to work in a team environment and provide excellent patient care.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
