Sales Assistant

Position Summary

The Sales Assistant supports Sales Producers and the Sales team with making outbound autodialed calls to potential clients.

This is an entry-level position with training provided.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Will use an autodialer phone system to make calls to potential clients.
• Will obtain the necessary information to give to Sales Producer to follow up with clients and provide quotes for insurance products.
• Responsible for follow up with clients to obtain needed documents.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

• Looking for individuals who are willing to learn and who are customer service oriented
• Must have good phone and communication skills, and be comfortable speaking on the phone
• Good computer skills, and experience working within the Microsoft Office environment

• Must be able to sit for extended periods of time while making phone calls and using a computer
• Must be able to hear over the phone and speak clearly with potential clients
• Must be able to type on a computer keyboard to input and edit information

Hours

• Monday – Thursday, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. (approx. 26 hours per week)

Pay

• $18/hour opportunity to earn bonus/commission
• Hourly, non-exempt
