What are the responsibilities and job description for the Site Merchandising Associate position at Brooklinen?
Overview
We’re excited to be looking for a Site Merchandising Associate to join our team in Brooklyn, NY (2 days in/3 days remote schedule). Reporting to our Senior Associate, Site Merchandising, you will play an integral role in supporting and managing all aspects of site merchandising content and onsite product launches for Brooklinen. Additionally, you will execute manual site updates, support the Digital Product team on feature build-outs and requests, and work closely with cross-functional teams to help bring products to life onsite.
This role is perfect for you if you’re a detail-oriented and enthusiastic individual who is excited to improve product launches, enjoys seeing your ideas and strategies come to life, and genuinely cares about merchandising & DTC ecommerce trends.
What you’ll do
- Update and maintain all product information in Shopify including SKUs, POS (Point of Sale), imagery, copy, product tags, and pricing
- Own all aspects of product launches with cross-functional teams including Creative and Product Design briefing, SKU coordination, site builds, homepage and navigation updates, and QA
- Create new and update existing PLPs (product listing pages) across site
- Manage asset handoff timelines and sign off from the Creative and Product Design team, Senior Associate, Site Merchandising, and Director of Product Management
- Partner with the Merchandising, CX, and Production teams to refresh evergreen content across product detail pages, product listing pages, and homepage
- Oversee JIRA tickets related to product launches in order to ensure assets are live on-site for the launch
- Assist the team in feature developments and on-site QA for updates and features
- Partner with analytics to understand product launch and merchandising performance
We're looking for someone who brings
- 1 years of relevant experience (relevant internships count!)
- Familiarity with Content Management Systems; experience with Shopify is a plus
- An understanding of retail KPIs
- Proficiency in Excel
- Familiarity with web analytics tools such as Heap/Looker is a plus
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience QAing own work
- A strong sense of time management, strong attention to detail, and a process-oriented mindset
- A genuine interest in ecommerce and partnering with tech teams
