WHO WERE LOOKING FOR:
Were looking for a professional, enthusiastic, and detail oriented HR Generalist who will be responsible for full-cycle human resources administration and operations across multiple teams, and who will support the VP of Operations in the creation and implementation of new Culture Team processes and standards. The HR Generalist thrives on helping others and is passionate about making BKB the best workplace possible. From recruiting and onboarding, to payroll and benefits administration, to employee relations, the HR Generalist will support all functions of the people operations at BKB and work tirelessly to balance the needs of our people with the goals of the business.

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Recruiting:
- Execute recruiting plans across multiple BKB locations.
- Manage job board postings
- Train hiring managers on recruitment processes and systems
- Use both traditional and non traditional candidate sourcing methods to ensure a robust and diverse candidate pool
- As needed, lend support to hiring managers in screening resumes, coordinating/performing interviews, and facilitating hiring assignments and debriefs
- Own full cycle recruiting for facility-level management positions
- Source qualified candidates and perform initial interviews
- Coordinate hiring team interviews, candidate projects, debriefs, etc
- Act as point of contact for all candidates throughout the hiring process ensuring the best possible candidate experience
- Adhere to all Culture Team hiring policies
- Accurately draft and issue all offer letter packets to new hires
- Attend monthly succession planning meetings with Managers to keep abreast of recruiting needs
- Assist in the development and implementation of hiring practices and partnerships which promote Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
Onboarding:
- Responsible for the successful on-boarding of all new team members across our various facilities
- Manage all new hire paperwork, ensure I9s are properly completed, collect and store employment eligibility verification documents, and accurately process new hires into the companys HRIS
- Track and ensure completion of all new hire onboarding tasks using BKBs IT/HR Service Desk
- Administer and ensure satisfactory completion of background checks
- Keep hiring managers/GMs informed of all new new hire onboarding progress prior to the first day of work, and ensure a seamless pass-of each new hire to their manager
- Ensure that mandated reporter, sexual harassment, and other training is completed by each new hire in a timely manner, and properly store/track completion certificates
Employee Relations:
- Answer employee inquiries, escalating to the VP of Operations where necessary
- Monitor the HR Service Desk and ensure response and resolution time is in accordance with agreed to Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Assist with HR investigations, documentation, etc.
- Assist managers with writing performance improvement and development plans as needed
- Facilitate compensation proposal process as needed
- Respond to verifications of employment and other inbound requests pertaining to employee records
- Prepare separation agreements as needed, and administer all separation paperwork in an accurate and timely manner
- Act as the HR representative during separations as needed
- Draft and manage all HR employee paperwork (status change memos, compensation plan changes, addendums, etc)
HRIS, Payroll, and Benefits:
- Process bi-weekly payroll for all BKB facilities
- Ensure accuracy in; payroll earnings codes, overtime calculations, paid time off/leaves of absence, etc.
- Ensure that benefit deductions (401K, health insurance, FSA, HSA, commuter, etc) as well as any other deductions and/or garnishments are properly applied
- Quality-check all payrolls, and deliver payroll reports to General Managers and finance department
- Maintain BKBs HRIS Ensure promotions/job title changes are accurately entered into the system
- Ensure pay rates/changes are accurately entered into the system
- Manage administration of Paid Time Off, FMLA, and other leaves of absence
- Manage administration of Workers Compensation and Disability benefits
- Assist with miscellaneous reporting as needed
- Upload all employee documents to their HRIS file
- Assist in the setup and overall upkeep of all HRIS modules
- Manage new hire benefits enrollment and existing employee benefits administration through the companys HRIS platform and external portals
- Manage the companys annual open enrollment period during 4th quarter of each year
- Manage COBRA administration for one or more BKB facilities
- Manage year end reporting and documentation closeout (W-2s, ACA reporting, 401k audits, etc.)
YOU HAVE:
- Exceptional attention to detail, impeccable organizational skills, and a strong desire to let nothing slip through the cracks. This is an admin heavy role with many moving pieces
- Demonstrated success in high volume recruiting and/or HR/payroll administration
- Demonstrated success in a wide variety of HR employee relations
- A roll with the punches attitude. This is a developing company and we need someone who thrives in an ever-changing environment as we constantly improve our operations
- Excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to establish trust and maintain relationships

Salary : $65,000 - $75,000
