Job Description:
Responsible for program development planning and evaluation for all SUD services; Responsible for the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures; Responsible for hiring, professional development, progressive discipline, and termination of department staff with the approval of the Vice President of Behavioral Health and Practice Management; Takes corrective action when deficiencies occur regarding the provision of SUD Services; Responsible for management of profitability and losses of services lines and in the development of program budgets; Assures that Quality Assurance and Utilization Review practices are carried out in the department; Assures that incidents are investigated and corrective action is taken; Assures the integrity of the facility and programs; Is responsible for community and public relations; Acts as a liaison to governmental agencies in ensuring program compliance with OASAS, DNV, and Health Department Regulations.
Education:
A minimum of a BS or BA in Human Services or related area plus a CASAC and Clinical Supervision Training - Master’s Degree plus CASAC preferred. Four years paid experience in Chemical Dependency counseling (at least one year of this experience having been acquired at the location of supervising experience.)
