Configuration Specialist – Remote
Start Date: August 5th
Training: First 5 Weeks (Starting 7/15 or 7/22)
Terms: 12-Month Contract-to-Hire
Pay: $35/Hour
Brief Description: The Facets Configuration Specialist will work to effectively configure and optimize the Trizetto Facets/HealthEdge platforms to enhance data processing, storage, and retrieval capabilities. This data will consist of billing, enrollment, and claims data/processing.
Detailed Description: This role is an entry-level position that requires the aptitude to learn and participate in the overall process. The successful candidate must be driven and well-organized with strong learning abilities. The individual must be self-motivated and tenacious, thrive in a collaborative fast-paced environment, and complete tasks on agreed schedules. The team will look to this individual to assist in the configuration, design, development, testing, and implementation of quality data and Trizetto/HealthEdge products and software solutions while working on an Agile team and assisting colleagues from all disciplines.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in CS, MIS, or any related field)
- Strong background and core coursework in SQL Development/relational database proficiency
- Experience utilizing ETL processes (nice to have)
- Proficiency with Python (nice to have)
- Experience working in a cloud environment – Azure, AWS, or GCP
- Knowledge of SCRUM and AGILE methodologies
- Strong coding and troubleshooting skills
- Healthcare experience and/or project/internship experience is a huge plus
- Eager and excited learner looking to grow current development and application support skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in healthcare operations
- Knowledge of Medicare regulations, compliance, and reimbursement methodologies
- Experience with Healthcare Payor Core Applications
- Experience participating in CMS compliance audits
- Proficiency in managing multiple complex customizations and client arrangements
- Experience migrating a plan to a new technology platform
