Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Systems Analyst with a strong background in the Workday Finance module to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in analyzing, designing, and optimizing our financial systems within the Workday platform. As a Systems Analyst, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, IT, and other stakeholders, to gather requirements, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement solutions. This position requires a solid understanding of Workday Finance technical knowledge, design experience, problem-solving abilities, and familiarity with agile methodologies and JIRA.
- Design and configure Workday Finance solutions to meet business requirements, including customizations, integrations, and reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement system enhancements and upgrades, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption to business operations.
- Stay up-to-date with Workday Finance updates, new features, and best practices to provide guidance and recommendations for system optimization.
- Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and stand-up meetings.
- Utilize JIRA or similar tools to track and manage project tasks, issues, and deliverables.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of system documentation, including user guides, process flows, and technical specifications.
Required Job Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree and 3 years Information Technology experience.
- 3-4 years of experience working with the Workday Finance module, including configuration and customization.
- Strong technical knowledge of Workday Finance, including report writing, calculated fields, business process configuration, and security.
- Proven experience in system analysis, design, and implementation within the Workday platform.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues and propose effective solutions.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and experience working in an agile development environment.
- Proficiency in using JIRA or similar project management tools to track tasks and issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Strong concepts of Workday frameworks such as Integrations, Business Processes, Security and Advanced Report Writing. Proficiency in Web Services and technologies such as REST, SOAP, XML and XSLT.
