YOUR TYPICAL DAY
As our new General Manager at Brown's Automotive, you fuel the bustling service department with enthusiasm, setting goals and energizing your team during the morning huddle. You will also serve as the quality control lead with regular checks in all shop departments. With a storytelling knack, you craft engaging estimates, upselling services to leave customers delighted. Guiding your team through competent leadership, you empower our technicians to shine, groom the Customer Service Rep to flourish and dazzle our customers with top notch service, and provide oversight to the towing department to provide efficient operations. Your personal touch builds trust, ensuring customers leave with a smile. Your day blends automotive wizardry and customer delight, making you indispensable as the leader to our automotive family!
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience as a Service Manager and in the automotive industry
- Responsible for the upward growth of the company
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to stay proficient with ever changing technology
- Lead, mentor and counsel people in a way that inspires them to grow
- Train new employees to operate proficiently in their position
- Track and monitor business growth and identify helpful or harmful trends
- Set up and maintain schedules, reports and routines that increase efficiency
- Ability to oversee payroll, bookkeeping, marketing, and the towing department
- Assign technician workflow and do quality control checks
- Selling service to customers and advising them of their vehicles needs
- Maintain shop equipment and overall appearance
- Preferred: Training or certification in leadership and management, highlighting your commitment to professional growth.
WORK SCHEDULE
This is a full-time position at our vibrant location in Smithfield, VA. Enjoy a Monday-Friday schedule, giving you weekends to recharge and pursue personal passions with the occasional weekend planning or training event.
