Eagle Global Scientific has contracted with the National Center for Emerging and Zoonotic Infectious Diseases (NCEZID), at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC), Division of Healthcare Quality Promotion (DHQP). The mission of DHQP is to: protect patients; protect healthcare personnel; and promote safety, quality, and value in both national and international healthcare delivery systems. DHQP is organized into six main components: the Office of the Director, the Clinical and Environmental Microbiology Branch (CEMB), the Surveillance Branch (SB), the Prevention and Response Branch (PRB), the Immunization Safety Office (ISO) and the Epidemiology Research and Innovations Branch (ERIB). HEALTH COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST III Create social media strategy and social media content for various platforms, including innovative use of digital tools. Continually learn about new channels, new outreach methods, audience trends, and make recommendations to the team lead. Track and evaluate reach and engagement of the social media content created. Adjust social media strategy to meet audience needs, driven by analytics and data. Successfully launch new social media handles, as needed, and grow an online following for each. Provide communication support for, including the management of comments on, Project Firstline social media channels and social marketing efforts. Assist with the development of Project Firstline communications materials, including, but not limited to videos, social media cards, infographics and podcasts. Ensure all materials meet plain language and 508 Compliance requirements. Assist with the review of clearances of all communications materials related to CDC Project Firstline. Proactively identify, research, and resolve problems or issues; participate in team strategies sessions to discuss solutions. Proactively recommend updated strategies to improve tactics and outreach efforts.
