Job Posting for Equipment Operator (snow plow) Winter 24-25 at Brundage Mountain Resort
Brundage Mountain Resort is seeking a part time equipment operator to plow on-mountain parking lots and the Goose Lake Road from Highway 55 to Brundage. This is the ideal job for those with a flexible schedule to work hard when it snows hard and relax on groomer days.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Reports To: Director of Mountain Operations
Employment Status: Seasonal; Part-time, variable hours
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Clean ice and snow from equipment and complete equipment inspections
- Plow and move snow in a safe and efficient manner with various types of machinery; such as Loaders, Plow Trucks, etc.
- Assess conditions and needs for plowing, sanding or other snow maintenance
- Follow written and oral directions from supervisor/manager
- Constant awareness to conditions and surroundings, ensuring no property damage occurs
- Communicate regularly with other team members on changing snow conditions
- Highschool diploma or equivalent
- Critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Experience operating front end loaders, backhoes, skid steers and other heavy equipment preferred, will train for necessary skills
- Must be available to work flexible hours including early mornings, holidays and weekends
- Should enjoy being outdoors and able to work in winter conditions
- Must have a clean driving record and valid driver’s license
- No CDL required
