We are looking for an experienced Director of Care Management to lead and enhance our care management department. This senior-level role involves strategic planning, operational oversight, and ensuring high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing and management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement departmental goals, plans, and standards aligned with organizational objectives.
- Direct and evaluate departmental operations, including patient care, information technology, service levels, and complaint management to achieve quality control goals.
- Oversee staffing activities such as hiring, orientation, evaluation, disciplinary actions, and continuing education.
- Prepare, monitor, and evaluate departmental budgets, ensuring compliance with allocated funding and directing audits.
- Create and maintain an environment that supports professional growth.
- Integrate evidence-based practices into daily operations and clinical protocols.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or other healthcare-related field.
- Michigan RN license.
- Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (BLS-HCP) certification.
- 4 years of management experience.
- 2 years of case management experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in nursing.
