Job Summary
General Labor 2nd Shift positions are responsible for performing various tasks in the manufacturing environment efficiently processing Salad, Meat, and Fruit. Required tasks may include but are not limited to; Trimming, erecting corrugated boxes, general housekeeping (Utility), material handling functions, performing rework, condiment insert-er, and product spreading. Other parts may include packing bags in corrugated boxes and palletizing while meeting and exceeding all safety, quality, and efficiency standards. Job functions vary from day to day depending on customer requirements.
Job Functions:
- Demonstrate knowledge of all trimming techniques. (Depending upon the area of assignment)
- Perform a visual inspection of all raw products while performing the trimming process, product spreading, and rework functions.
- Communicate quality issues of raw products to the appropriate personnel.
- Ensure prompt and timeliness of changeovers when performing condiment inserter functions. (When Required)
- Maintain a clean and organized working environment.
- Ability to meet daily production standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Immediately report any observation of contamination to their supervisor.
Desired Skills / Qualifications:
- Must understand and execute actions based on verbal and visual instructions.
- Ability to lift 25 pounds repetitively.
- Stand for the duration of the shift (10 hours or more)
- Bend continuously throughout the shift
- Able to work in a noisy, wet, and cold environment of approximately 36 - 20 degrees Fahrenheit
- Perform repetitive motions for the duration of the shift
- Able to reach with hands and arms to check the product
Work Hours:
- 2nd Shift Monday - Sunday 6:00 pm - Until Finish (2:00 am - 4:00 am)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
