WHAT YOU'LL DO
The Procurement Analyst will assist in supporting our organizations procurement needs by researching new suppliers, ensuring all anticipated/planned purchases of products and services meet our standards, and assisting in contract negotiations to achieve cost-effective results in a timely manner. This role additionally supports strategic planning, pricing negotiations, specification determination and supply control by defining a need, identifying the appropriate solution, managing the purchase, and administering procurement contracts.
WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR (Essential Functions):

- Provide collaborative efforts to support fulfillment of procure-to-pay activities
- Prepare proposals, request quotes and negotiate purchase agreements
- Coordinate time efficient review of contract terms related to IT Security, Privacy, Risk, Legal, Finance and key stakeholders as needed
- Assist with purchasing requests and preparing purchase orders
- Monitor supplier performance and SLAs
- Analyze industry and demand trends to support leadership with the development and implementation of sourcing strategies
- Regularly assess IT assets and supply needs to maintain balanced inventory
- Research potential suppliers with a focus on risk management and cost savings
- Conduct cost-benefit analysis of existing and prospective suppliers
- Generate monthly, quarterly and annual supply cost reports
- Track invoices and spend across all departments
- Coordinate vendor management, inquires and communication
- Maintain accurate and current documentation of active and preferred suppliers
- Perform ongoing audits of vendor contracts and maintain accurate archive repository
- Assist in developing processes and procedures of growing Procurement Department
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (Required Education and Experience):
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Proven work experience in procurement, contracting or similar roles.
- Strong knowledge or background of supplier and third party software.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in collecting and analyzing data.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet team objectives.
- Ability to maintain efficiency in a high-paced environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and similar software tools.
- Ability to adapt and quickly learn new software solutions
- Experience in managing processes and policies
NICE TO HAVE (Preferred education and experience):
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is a similar role
- Certification in third party risk management or procedures
