Job Summary:
RMD Logistics has an opening for an Inventory Manager. This position will be the primary focal point for material inventory management at our Camden Facility, including production, company owned and Government Furnished Material (GFM) depot material. This position requires coordination with site leadership, Logistics leadership and production control to ensure material management expectations are being met. The successful candidate will possess leadership and organizational skills necessary to monitor and control inventory management processes from movement to physical validation to maintain compliance and prepare for factory integration, inbound and outbound shipments in accordance with Raytheon and DOD instructions and regulations.
A familiarity with Raytheon’s SAP based business management system (PRISM) and movement system will help facilitate disposition and movement of explosives material according to MRP requirements.
Tasks to be performed will entail coordinating daily and weekly requirements with Logistics leadership to determine material and compliance requirements at the factory. A background in handling or working with explosives is preferred.

Responsibilities To Anticipate:
- Manage material inventory, prioritizing cycle count requirements.
- Lead a team of inventory specialist to support compliance and factory material needs.
- Prioritizes support through competing needs across operating factories in production of multiple programs.
- Monitor and approve timecards for assigned employees.
- Ensure employees are in compliance with all safety, security, and required training. Spares no effort in prevention of any and all recordable injuries; eliminate security escapes through continual leadership engagement
- Coordinate factory requirements under the guidance of Logistics leadership with production planners, warehouse inventory production specialists, traffic administrators, and plant clearance team to ensure hazardous material (Plant Clearance Material/7FM Material) are prepared for shipped to the customer in a timely manner prior of the destination due date.
- Submit DOT vehicle DVIRs and Driver (Material Handler) log sheets on a weekly/monthly basis to ensure we are in compliance with the DOT rules and regulations.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Mgmt, Engineering, Supply Chain Mgmt, Operations, Finance or another related field.
- 2 years relevant, material management experience is required across multiple projects and competing priorities
- Understands metrics methods; development/execution of root cause and corrective action plans
- Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
- Experience utilizing Microsoft office-based computer systems (Excel, Word)
- The ability to pass Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) background screening.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. SECRET security clearance within 1 year of hire. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- ASCM CSCP (or equivalent) or to achieve within 12 months of hire
Qualifications we Value:
- Demonstrated people management/leadership skills, experience engaging large, complicated teams
- Clear understanding of hazardous material classifications, specifically Class 1
- Experience working with hazardous materials - Class 1 compatibility rules in a DOD or Defense contractor setting
- Understanding of regulations relative to handling, processing and movement of dangerous or sensitive materials including CFR, DFARS, FAR, ITAR, DoD, and DSS
- Proven ability to develop collaborative relationships and influence up, down and/or across organizational lines
