What are the responsibilities and job description for the Busser/Dishwasher position at Buckhorn BBQ+Grill?
Buckhorn BBQ, a growing fast-casual dining restaurant, is hiring for our Rocklin restaurant. Do you want to work in a fun and fast paced environment with competitive wages? We are looking for responsible and experienced individuals with great attitudes and excellent guest service skills.
Job Duties:
· Keeps all dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and silverware cleaned thoroughly and stocked following critical details.
· Keeps the dining and service areas clean. This includes tables, chairs, floors, condiment & soda area, and trash receptacles.
· Keeps the restrooms clean and stocked. Follows the 1-hour check offs.
· Maintains cleanliness of dishwashing station, dishwasher itself, storage area(s), floors and walls in the prep kitchen area.
· Makes table checks regularly. Give our signature guest service. Make eye contact, be specific when inquiring about their food i.e. “how was your roadhouse salad? How was your sandwich?” Don’t just ask “how was everything?”.
· Pre-busses dishes from tables while doing table checks.
· Cleans tables within two minutes of the customer’s departure.
· Collect all garbage and recyclables and dispose of them properly.
· Maintain soda & condiment area. Clean as needed, keep stocked, and replace Bag in Box sodas as needed.
· Keep dining room floor clean. Pick up or sweep any paper or food debris as needed to maintain a clean floor. Spot mop as needed.
· Sweep & mop floors at 3:00 turnaround using the 2-mop system.
· Keep aisle ways in kitchen clear of obstructions and spills. Remove trash bags before they are too full. Never stack dishes on the floor.
· Always work safe by using safe lifting practices and adhering to company policies.
· Follows health and safety policies.
· Assist with putting deliveries away. Remember to always use F.I.F.O. (First In, First Out).
· Communicates and works as a team with other Team Members to fulfill our Mission Statement.
· Assists prep during downtime.
