Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Field Marketing Manager to join our marketing team. As a Field Marketing Manager, you will collaborate with the Product Director and team to implement and execute strategic marketing plans for the company, with a focus on enhancing brand awareness through diverse external activation points. This role requires a combination of creativity and mobility, as you will be responsible for ensuring all marketing materials align with our brand identity and core competencies. Reporting directly to the Product Director, you will work closely with sales teams, product marketing teams, and other cross-functional departments to drive lead generation, support sales efforts, and successfully execute marketing campaigns, events, and programs.

Duties:
- Plan and execute physical marketing activations, events, and programs across various platforms to support specific objectives outlined in our strategic marketing plan. This includes coordinating trade shows, conferences, and other customer-facing events, while effectively managing the marketing budget provided by the Ownership Team.
- Propose and manage marketing research projects to generate consumer insights in support of improved marketing strategy and communications.
- Collaborate with the executive leadership team, other internal stakeholders, external agencies and vendors.
- Lead the execution of marketing programs from start to finish, driving collaboration within the marketing team and leveraging internal processes.
- Measure and analyze the effectiveness of marketing programs and campaigns, and make recommendations for optimization.
- Build strategic relationships and partner with key industry players, agencies, and vendors.
- Maintain a close eye on all competitor marketing programs to ensure the company is competing at the highest possible level.
- Management of local and digital assets to support all retail operations as well as wholesale related programs.
- Post on the company's Social Media channels for consistent, creative, and on-brand posts on a weekly basis (focus on real-life activations)
- Manage all field trade marketing activity for Bud and Mary's brand portfolio.
- Train and incentivize budtenders to support Ript, building brand affinity among the staff and boosting sales velocity.
- Schedule and execute consumer-facing retail activations like demos and events, driving brand awareness, trial, and sales
- Identify and execute in-store merchandising opportunities, increasing brand and product visibility at retail
- Maintain an expert understanding of Bud and Mary's house of brands, cannabis, and the cannabis industry
- Expand the customer base of opt-in marketing programs.
- Be the face of Bud and Mary's brands in the MA market.
- Assist with the planning and execution of all company related events
Qualifications:
- Experience marketing cannabis brands and executing in-person activations.
- Comfort leading meetings and presentations.
- Understanding of the Massachusetts cannabis market.
- Understanding of Massachusetts cannabis marketing regulations.
- Strong project management skills.
- Strong problem-solving ability, including metrics-driven thinking.
- Ability to travel to locations in Massachusetts 80% or more of working time.
- 4 years of experience in marketing with a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Business (or similar).
- Experience managing content for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube at a minimum.
- A proactive self-starter and strategic thinker with the ability to conceive, implement and execute ideas; ability to think outside the box.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to effectively work with senior management.
- Knowledge of social media trends and interest in testing new platforms, formats, and types of content as they emerge.
Other Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must be able to obtain proper badging as required by the state of MA
- Must be able to work a typical schedule of Tuesday-Saturday (flexible hours), with occasional work on other days of the week.
- Strong personal social media presence, community work, or Boston residence a plus.
Salary : $70,000 - $80,000
