Buena Park Nursing Center is looking for a Business Office Manager to join our team.
General Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain and complete financial records of the facility according to established company policies and procedures.
Acts as Management Information Systems designee.
Manages department expenditures within facility budget guidelines.
Budget and spend down.
Accounts receivable: Billing procedures, expectations and standards.
Billing Medicare, HMO, VA, Medical, Private Insurances, Hospice, County, among others.
Timely deposits, reconciliations.
Maintain Resident Trust Accounts.
Balance Sheets, AR, Cash accounts.
Keep accurate census and mix.
Requirements:
Experience in the billing role of a skilled nursing home is required.
Bachelor's or Associate's degree from accredited college with specialization in business or accounting is preferred.
Knowledge of Medicare/Medical reimbursement.
Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to managed care and nursing care facilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Solid leadership and relationship/team building skills.
