Buena Park Nursing Center is looking for a Business Office Manager to join our team.

General Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and complete financial records of the facility according to established company policies and procedures.
  • Acts as Management Information Systems designee.
  • Manages department expenditures within facility budget guidelines.
  • Budget and spend down.
  • Accounts receivable: Billing procedures, expectations and standards.
  • Billing Medicare, HMO, VA, Medical, Private Insurances, Hospice, County, among others.
  • Timely deposits, reconciliations.
  • Maintain Resident Trust Accounts.
  • Balance Sheets, AR, Cash accounts.
  • Keep accurate census and mix.

Requirements:

  • Experience in the billing role of a skilled nursing home is required.
  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree from accredited college with specialization in business or accounting is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Medicare/Medical reimbursement.
  • Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to managed care and nursing care facilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Solid leadership and relationship/team building skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $31.00 per hour
