Email Marketing Senior Associate

As Email Marketing Senior Associate, you are primarily responsible for supporting the development and production of emails for marketing campaigns, including workflows and schedules for marketing automation plans. You should possess an understanding of email marketing platforms and best practices.

You will work with our Email Marketing Manager to interpret our client needs and use your collective understanding and experience to develop emails and email marketing campaigns that support broader client marketing initiatives. You will also support the maintenance of long-term email marketing campaigns, contribute to email marketing plans and strategies from which these campaigns are defined, and support the roll-out and implementation of tools (or enhancements of current tools) needed to execute the production of email marketing..

Your responsibilities may also expand to similar functions within website production, responsible for supporting the production of campaign landing pages and websites. You will work primarily under the direction of our Email Marketing Manager. Salary range: $55,000 - $65,000

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create email campaigns and templates in email service provider (ESP) builder tools (non coding)
• Build automation workflows and customer journeys in ESP
• Collaborate with Email Marketing Manager and Account Management leads to ensure proper execution of email marketing requirements for campaigns
• Work closely with Email Marketing Manager to plan and schedule email production and maintenance workload
• Help clean up client ESP databases by developing and applying tags, segments, groups, etc.
• Assist with email project management
• Assist with email content development and support email copywriting, as needed
• Image sizing/resizing and other production techniques for optimal deliverability
• Attend and contribute to [email] marketing campaign ideation sessions
• Assist with email marketing strategy / plan development, audits, etc., as needed
• Assist with presenting and explaining information and ideas to team leads
• Perform other departmental duties as requested from time to time

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist the Web Shop team with production of websites and landing pages for our clients and with website maintenance (content updates, troubleshooting, QA, list/database updates, etc.)
• Collaborate with members of the Web Shop and Creative teams to ensure proper integration of content for online products
• Complete projects according to approved timelines, scope, and client specifications.
• Contribute knowledge and share experiences with fellow team members.
• Perform as a role model, exhibiting professional level performance, work results, and demeanor.
• Keep abreast of and regularly share best practices in all areas of digital marketing

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 3-4 years of professional experience in email marketing
• Demonstrated understanding of email marketing practices
• Must be generally familiar with ESPs and CRMs (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact, Salesforce) and be comfortable working in new ones
• Must have experience developing email creative content 
• Hands-on experience with email production tools (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact)
• Experience with marketing automation techniques (workflows, dynamic content, etc.) and website/app integrations a PLUS
• Attention to detail
