DRS Marlo Coil manufactures robust heat transfer, refrigeration, and air handling equipment for industrial, commercial, utility and marine markets.  Our custom engineered heat transfer solutions are used in a variety of configurations to cool, heat, and dehumidify air streams for process and building comfort.  We pride ourselves on having equipment on most surface combatant ships and submarines in the U.S. Navy fleet.  Additionally, DRS Marlo Coil is positioned for significant growth in the Industrial/Commercial markets.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage budgets and schedule execution to the baseline.  Identify variances to budgets, forecast plans and opportunities to improve.  Execute baseline changes on labor hour shifting and make/buy.
  • Execute project activities to the project scope.  Ensure resources are executing project scope within the required schedule and communicate staffing needs.  Manage overall material receipts schedule to ensure production schedules are maintained.
  • Identify and Communicate issues/risks/opportunities to team and plans to improve.  Identify scope changes and work with the team to estimate impact.  Create a forward-looking plan to create purchase requisitions and monitor deliveries to support forecast MRP.
  • Spread hours per the execution plan and make adjustments as appropriate
  • Support weekly meetings with internal team and periodic meetings with external customer/vendor.  Support monthly reviews as required (IPBR, PMR, etc.) with inputs and backup data.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts
  • Work with all levels of Supply Chain to ensure best-practice procurement efforts are maintained and followed for each program's unique contract requirements.  Assist other departments in creating program specific reports and other files for executive presentations.
  • Understand project requirements and deliverables
  • Participate in bidding efforts for new awards
  • Assist in project close-out efforts
  • Support, communicate and defend the mission, values, and culture of the company

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years demonstrated experience
  • Solid understanding of business processes and functional inter-relationships
  • Strong background in project material management
  • Extensive experience in production planning
  • Skilled in the use of Excel, Excel Pivot Tables, Power Point, Word, as well as Sharepoint
