Industrial Equipment Painter

If you have these qualifications, knowledge, skills, and abilities…

• Machinery painting experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic math skills required
• Must be able to read, interpret and follow written work orders
• Must be able to successfully complete respirator fitting and certification
• Forklift certification a plus
• Ability to work a 5 10s schedule of Monday through Friday, 6:00am to 4:30pm

And are interested in these responsibilities…

• Reading work orders to determine proper setup of paint equipment and paint product. Calculating required amounts of paint based on work order
• Setting up and operating paint machines to obtain proper paint flow, viscosity, and coating quality
• Preparing equipment surface prior to paint application. Masking off product as required per work order to protect surfaces during painting
• Observing machine gauges and equipment operation to detect defects from standards, and making adjustments as necessary
• Performing visual quality inspections of painted equipment
• Cleaning machines, related equipment and work areas using cleaning aids
• Transferring completed products from paint booth to drying area using hand trucks or forklifts
