Perform general laborer duties to maintain clean plant area. Provide routine lubrication and maintenance of plant equipment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Shovel and sweep product to maintain clean plant area.
- Operate hand tools, forklift, bobcat, backhoe and other mobile equipment.
- Work outdoors and in all types of weather.
- Provide routine lubrication and maintenance of plant equipment.
- Work safely and communicate effectively.
- Must be willing to train to advance into different job classifications.
- Additional Duties assigned by manager
Education :
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience :
Mechanical background with prior experience in a plant or similar environment helpful. Related experience preferred.
Competencies / Knowledge / Skills :
- Strong work ethic, dependability and a high level of dedication to safety.
- Work primarily in a non-climate controlled environment.
- Work rotating shifts and weekends.
