Nature of Work
Under close supervision, complete human resources tasks and payroll functions.
- Maintain accurate and current personnel files on district employees.
- Work includes creating new hire packets for employees, complete orientation for new hires, audit leave in payroll system, review documents for compliance of agency guidelines, and submitting employee documents/forms within the designated timeframe.
- Assists professional staff by researching and assembling data within the defined criteria.
- Must adhere to Division of Personnel and Department of Health and Human Resources policies and regulations.
- Complete other work as required.
Minimum Qualifications
Training: High school diploma or the equivalent.
Experience: Two (2) years of full-time or part-time equivalent paid clerical experience, one (1) year of which must have been in a support or paraprofessional role in human resources, payroll, bookkeeping or accounting.
Substitution: Candidates may substitute education for the required experience at the rate of one (1) year of experience for each thirty (30) semester hours of education.
Note: A valid driver's license may be required.

Pay: $25,073.00 - $46,385.00 per year
