The Position :
The Electrical Assembler supports manufacturing operations by performing bench-type processes to complete electrical and mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies using hand tools, electronic and pneumatic tooling.
Experience in electrical assembly needed.
Responsibilities Include :
- Work to standard operating procedures or work instructions
- Perform electro-mechanical assembly operations to produce complete product directed by manufacturing schedules
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics and recognize components
- Cut, strip, bend and mount wires to connect electrical units within the panel box
- Use various fixtures, hand tools and special tools, gauges, and assembly tools to assemble, modify, measure, cut, drill, adjust, test, or repair products
- Perform quality control visual inspections or functional operation of material / product before and after assembly
- Utilize good problem solving and troubleshooting skills to check electrical and mechanical performance of completed assemblies
- Notify supervision discrepancies of work orders, material lists, assembly instructions or equipment malfunctions
- Coordinate / communicate with supervisors and leads
- Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition
- Follow prescribed safety regulations

Requirements :
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year related experience
- Knowledge and ability to utilize computers and related technology effectively
- Must be able to perform basic math skills
- Must have wiring knowledge
- Must have a mechanical aptitude, familiarity with tools and measuring tools
- Must have ability to read and interpret visual aids such as drawings / blueprints
Desired Skills :
- Experience in manufacturing environment a plus
- Experience in reading electrical diagrams, schematics a plus
- Experience in electrical wiring, preferably in a panel shop a plus

Physical Requirements :
