Director of Retail Operations

POSITION DESCRIPTION
The role includes end to end ownership of the Burn Boot Camp retail division as it relates to the operations, growth and development of all product categories. This individual will work to advance aspects of the growing retail division that presently includes B2C retail, B2B, Burn Boot Camp promotional apparel, Burn Nutrition supplement products, and fitness equipment products. The position will work alongside the Retail Product Managers to assist in the development of
quarterly and an annual planning of the Burn Boot Camp retail division from concept to
execution. Along with product growth, the Director of Retail will also guide the retail operations management that includes fulfillment management and the customer success team that supports our Franchise Partner and members with their retail orders. Ensuring that we maintain a high-level of customer service satisfactory at all times.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
B2C / B2B:
- Work directly with Product team to develop strategies around driving product sales to achieve sales targets.
- Oversee the development, presentation, sourcing, sell-in and reporting on sale of direct-to-consumer, seasonal, and promotional lines of products and apparel
- Maintain multi-line planning calendar(s) and ensure that development timing is met
- Be able to speak to line list, financials and numbers at all times
- Accurately forecast product line quantities to account for seasonal demand promotional periods and company growth (demand planning).
- Work with retail product team and wholesale vendors to source, produce, distribute and merchandize products end to end throughout the product lifecycle
- Identify new business and growth opportunities
- Manage the relationship with fulfillment vendor(s) to ensure standards, cost and overall operations are meeting the standard and in the best interest of the Franchise system.
- Complete understanding of forecasting, margins, product development, product lifecycle, gap analysis and product mix management.
Burn Nutrition
- Manage growing Burn Nutrition business to meet shifts in consumer trends from an Ecommerce and wholesale strategy
- This includes innovation, planning, forecasting, ordering and sales of all items in the Burn Nutrition portfolio
- Responsible for sales and distribution of supplements/products and promotions and integration of those into the Burn Boot Camp marketing calendar in collaboration with Burn Boot Camp marketing team
Financial Planning
- Participate in annual planning of division financial goals including targets, forecasts, margins and gross sales as it relates to all retail distribution channels.
- Develop and adhere to pricing strategy, price-point distribution, margin and sales targets for all business channels (ie. B2B, B2C, etc).
- Monthly reporting summary of division against goals/targets to COO and leadership team
- Weekly reporting of current segments and product lines to COO
Fulfillment Management
- Oversee fulfillment center processes and relationship to ensure customer satisfaction
Advertising / Marketing
- Working alongside the marketing team to develop the full marketing strategy executed to drive all categories in B2B and B2C to obtain monthly targets.
- Work with cross-functional team to provide clear direction on product availability timing, product marketing plan and implementation strategy
- Communicate needs for cross-functional assistance on the above to the larger marketing team and work with Operations team to drive seamless product launches within franchises along with retail team.
- Maintain phased-approach to pricing including launch, on-sale, and sell-thru (sale) pricing of various product lines
