This non-exempt position reports to the Marketing Operations Manager and works with the entire marketing team. The Marketing Assistant ensures that all activities and processes for which he/she is responsible meet the highest standards of accuracy, service, and professionalism. This position will be responsible for various marketing administrative areas and will provide flexible support as needed in marketing activities. KEY CONTRIBUTIONS Support the firm’s Marketing Operations Manager on various projects, including website and intranet updates, social media, and graphic design. Write and edit various pieces in support of the firm’s content marketing efforts. Format marketing collateral and presentations. Manage branded product inventory. Assist with internal communications and meetings. Manage directory listings, including law firm lists in local publications, Best Lawyers, and Super Lawyers. Assist with special projects as needed by the firm’s Marketing and Business Development Team. THE ESSENTIALS Experience in a corporate or professional services environment/culture. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop. Comfort using internet-based technologies. Excellent interpersonal skills to provide great client service, handle sensitive information, and greet guests by phone or in person. Requires demonstrated poise, tact, diplomacy, and professional appearance. Ability to understand the work ethic and management style of direct leaders in an effort to be proactive and ensure great team performance. Continual attention to detail in composing, typing, and proofing materials. Must be flexible, demonstrating the ability to adapt easily to a fast-paced work environment. May include periodically working around standard work hours to meet client service demands. Must have a positive attitude, as well as be assertive and confident. Must demonstrate effective problem-solving skills. Bachelor’s degree is required.
