Description
The designer will be part of a team that prepares construction design plans for commercial site plans, residential subdivisions, roadway and utility projects.
Requirements
- Prefer 2 years experience working in Autocad Civil 3D
- Must have experience working with office products such as: Word and Excel
- Performs design and drafting work in connection with street, water, sewer, and drainage systems
- Coordinates with project engineers to produce plans in a timely manner to meet deadlines
- Estimates total quantities to be constructed by line items on projects for bidding purposes
- Operates various plotters, scanners, and printers to produce original drawings and copies
- Knowledge of the basic principles, practices, and techniques of civil engineering
- Ability to communicate clearly and politely
- Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans
- Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions
- Must be willing to be part of a team environment
- Must have a desire to continually improve and learn new techniques

Experience:
- Microsoft Excel: 1 year (Preferred)
