Job Title: Engineering Support Technician
Duration: 12 Months-CTH or Possibilities
Location: Archbald, PA
Work Schedule: 4/10A-1st Shift
Secret Clearance required prior to start.
Job Description:
- Provides technical support to engineers on a variety of technical tasks.
- Gathers, maintains, formats, compiles, and manipulates technical data, such as laboratory or material test results and engineering design changes.
- Produces engineering documentation, reports, drawings (flow charts, block diagrams, and schematics).
- Performs detailed mathematical calculations using established formulas; preliminary analyses of data where guidelines are provided in such areas as trajectory adequacy, model dimensional consistency; and quantitative judgments concerning technical data.
- Uses personal computer in performance of analyses and development of documentation/reports.
- May conduct tests and record data to assist with engineering evaluation or analysis.
Required Qualifications:
- Military training/combined experience in electronics field
- Combined degree and experience preferred
- Ability to read Engineering Drawings (1-2 years’ experience)
- Data Acquisition (1-2 years’ experience)
- Electronic Testing (1-2 years’ experience)
- Read Electrical Schematics (1-2 years’ experience)
- Associates Degree in electronics, electrical engineering technology, avionics discipline required.
- Military training/combined experience in electronics field may be substituted.
- Combined degree and experience preferred.
Desired Qualifications:
- Wiring harness Design
- Writing proposals and reports
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $21.47 - $25.86 per hour
